FSS Payment Simplifies the Online Payments with the Launch of Pays

By Apac CIO Outlook | Wednesday, August 12, 2020

FSS releases a new upgrade to now support popular payment wallets and execute much more.

FREMONT, CA: Financial Software and Systems (FSS), a payment product services and payment processing company headquartered in Chennai, TN, releases a new upgrade to support popular payment wallets such as Apple Pay, Samsung Pay and Google Pay for online, in-app and mobile purchases transacted in its e-Commerce Payment Gateway.

The company, along with ‘Pays,’ the gateway, also supports alternate payment mechanisms such as MADA, the payment scheme for Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, OmanNet, a network for processing debit cards in Oman, Amazon Pay, and India’s Instant Payments Scheme-Unified Payment Interface(UPI).

N Sathish, Dy Chief Product Officer FSS, said, “The support for added payment instruments is timely as more merchants and consumers are adopting online payments due to the C-19 induced lockdown in most countries. The enhancements are in line with our objective to globally expand our white-label Payment Gateway footprint by bringing relevant innovations that delivers satisfactory, fulfilling payment experiences…”

The recent enhancements help acquirers take advantage of this trend and boost the conversions rate at checkout via the provision of effortless payment experiences for users. Customers only need to select the most preferred payment wallet at checkout, type in the biometric imprint or PIN, and the payment is successfully carried out. The process does not require any input-intensive applications to fill in or fumbling for a plastic card in a wallet to enter the account number, card expiration, and security code.

As of now, the existing merchants of the service have an option to opt-in for activation with a few lines of code; all new merchants can rapidly integrate the wallet into their checkout process seamlessly. The upgraded process allows customers to freely transact in a familiar way using their preferred merchants. In the meantime, acquirers can utilize the white-labeled, out-of-the-box checkout that is hosted on the FSS Payment Gateway for wallet payment acceptance that will create a sense of ease to those smaller merchants who lack technical knowledge and expertise.

FSS Payment Gateway supports almost 70 percent of the merchant acquiring institutions present globally and processes more than a billion transactions annually. Acquirers also have the option to deploy FSS Payment Gateway in-premise or opt for an ‘As-a-Service’ model, wherein FSS hosts the service on FSSNeT (FSS private cloud) and seizes responsibility for appropriate set-up, security, regulatory compliance, regular product updates, and maintenance.
