    FREMONT, CA: Fujitsu –an enterprise Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Services provider– offers FUJITSU Cloud Service Smart Biz Connect for Finance, a mobile Backend as a Service (mBaaS) open platform, to Nanto bank for providing smartphone application services.

    Smart Biz connect for Finance, complies with the Security Guidelines on computer Systems for Banking and Related Financial Institutions issued by the Center for Financial Industry Information Systems (FISC).  Smart Biz connect for Finance, mBaaS is based on FUJITSU Digital Business Platform MetaArc, enabling financial institutions to implement smartphone application services from multiple vendors.

    Nanto Bank using mBaas, start its smartphone application services by linking Smart Bizconnect for Finance to an application from NetMove Corporation and in near future it will also offer Online-to-Offline information-delivery service for users of IC-equipped cash and credit cards.

    Smart Biz connect for Finance incorporates cloud-based implementation functions for the development and provisioning of smartphone application services, including member registration, and authentication and push notifications that are available through an Application Program Interface (API). The mBaaS open platform enables integrated multi-vendor smartphone application operations, and allows services to be built quickly and cost-effectively.

    Smart Biz connect for Finance enables financial institution customers to confidently deploy smartphone applications that handle user’s personal information. It is the only mBaaS in Japan to comply with FISC’s Security Guidelines on computer Systems for Banking and Related Financial Institutions. .

    The mBaaS open platform minimizes development costs and build time of smartphone application services. It allows users to customize applications using API thereby making the applications cost effective.

    The smartphone application services built on Smart Biz Connect for Finance reduces 70 percent of development and, operations cost and it increases the speed of development process by 80 percent.
