BOSTON, MA: Transparency Research presents a report, titled ‘Growth of Global WaaS Market Shifts into High Gear with Expanding Enterprise Mobility’. According to the report, the global WaaS market is expected to reach $18.37 billion by 2022, and register a 12.10 percent CAGR between 2015 and 2022.

The report illustrates the increase in adoption of Workspace-as-a-Service (WaaS) solutions by organizations globally as it helps IT administrators reduce the cost and complexity of their IT environments while improving efficiency and mobility. WaaS solution enables cloud-based access to desktops, applications, data, and complete workspaces from any location or device.

Out of numerous industries, BFSI (banking, financial services and insurance) right now is the dominant end-use industry to use WaaS solutions and applications, which is soon expected to be overtaken by the education and healthcare sectors.

North America to be on the top of the list

The greatest number of deployment is likely to take place in North America, to become the leading global WaaS market over the next several years, with availability of developed telecommunication and IT infrastructure being the key drivers behind this. Next on the list is Europe, followed by the Asia Pacific region. Asia Pacific region is rapidly growing in terms of WaaS market as the mounting number of start-ups and small-sized organizations are adopting the technology.

    IndependenceIT

IndependenceIT- a cloud management platform provider- has been cited as a key vendor in the report. The company has a dominant software platform, CMP+, which not only allows IT administrators to create and automate Software Defined Data Centres (SDDCs), but also lets public, private, or hybrid cloud-based servers, applications, and workloads assist the operation of WaaS. Apart from being fast and easy, the solution gives more choice to organize the service. It permits the administrators to supply and manage not only servers, but meaningful workloads. The software is designed for both enterprises and IT service providers to improve support, reduce administrative management and lower costs.

“IndependenceIT’s adaptive cloud management platform is powering forward looking enterprises and service providers who are provisioning, managing, automating, supporting and adapting their workloads to meet the expanding IT requirement for computing mobility,” says Seth Bostock, CEO, IndependenceIT. “The numbers reported by Transparency Research reflect the increase in demand we have seen through our global distribution channel as organizations transition their infrastructure to the cloud.”
