Hitachi's Lumada to Simplify Development of IoT Solutions

TOKYO: Hitachi Insight Group, the new global group formed for driving Hitachi's global unified Internet of Things (IoT) business and strategy, announces the launch of an Internet of Things (IoT) core platform, Lumada. Lumada is created to enhance Hitachi’s existing portfolio IoT solutions and support the development of new solutions and services.

Lumada is an IoT core platform consisting of an open and adaptable architecture that simplifies IoT solution creation and customization with Hitachi’s portfolio of services and solutions. The IoT core platform includes Hitachi’s expertise in the fields of operational technology (OT) and information technology (IT) that combines data orchestration, streaming analytics, content intelligence, simulation models, and other Hitachi software technologies.

Lumada aims to accelerate the synthesizing of actionable insights to deliver faster time to value and provide better decisions for its customers in the real world.
