The growth of smartphone users along with increased internet penetration has opened a great opportunity for implementing LMS and effective online learning.

FREMONT, CA: The outbreak of Covid 19 has affected many sectors and education is one among those. The pandemic has led the sector to resort to changing the ways of traditional classroom teachings and learning methods. However virtual platforms have reassured the educational institutes to streamline operations through conducting classes, access to e-content, and AI-enabled proctoring tools.

Learning Management Systems (LMS) helps manage the curation, management, and delivery of content and is popularly used in the teaching and learning field. Through LMS, instructors can plan learning sessions, design it, deliver, and conduct the sessions. It can also interact with participants, share reading materials, structure assessment, assign learners, evaluate the assignments singing correction tools, and produce reports through the learner's learning curve. LMS is a vital Edtech tool as video conferencing tools are not enough for learning. The technology facilitates making learning more personalized by offering instant feedback and showing the report of the candidate's performance.

    Learn while Earning

Through LMS, working professionals can enroll for courses and continue working. Initiatives implemented by the Government of India through Digital India and Skill India allow for the introduction of LMS for vocational courses conducted by industry experts.

Test Centers from the Comfort of Homes

COVID-19 has pushed institutions to integrate LMS to conduct online tests and exams. Candidates can sit for their exams from home while authorities invigilate live to prevent any malpractices.

Although there are few obstacles when it comes to streamlining the implementation of LMS into formal education in the country, from lack of devices to non-availability of the internet, utilizing integrated technology as part of CSR initiatives by companies is closing the gap.
