Robotics is set to be the driving technology that supports a whole new generation of independent machines and cognitive artifacts, connecting the digital and physical world.

FREMONT, CA: Dexta Robotics launches Dexmo Enterprise Edition, the first wireless force feedback gloves in the world that incorporate both motion capture and feedback capabilities. It allows wearers in the virtual world to conduct real-life activities with their complete dexterity.

Sophisticated and well-designed sensors enable individuals to feel virtual objects' size, shape, and rigidity. Futuristic characters recognize this as a step closer to fully immersive experiences offered by Virtual Reality. This will also radically enhance virtual training quality. This mechanical device combines with mainstream VR headsets and fits comfortably over the side, capturing 11 degrees of liberty in its movements. It not only tracks, but each finger has its pressure sensor, which allows a feeling of physical touch when communicating with virtual objects. This is the glove's most exciting element, as it could serve as a prospective response to haptic feedback.

With Dexmo, users can feel the flipping of a switch, press of a button or turn of a knob. Dexta Robotics collected feedback from early adopters after the small-batch release of Dexmo DK1 in 2017 and upgraded its manufacturability, hardware stability, key functionality, ergonomics, and software support in every aspect. Many sectors can benefit from Dexmo, including aerospace, vocational simulations, education, gaming, medical training, and teleoperation.

The company has a broad base of use cases including electric vehicle battery maintenance training, assembly-line training, flight simulation, cabin group vocational training, energy plant/nuclear energy plant training, interactive training, big space gaming, medical rehabilitation, and humanoid robot teleoperation. Currently, Dexta Robotics is partnering with vehicle makers and factory owners to train employees in a virtual environment, reduce training costs, and enhance the outcome of training by making practical learning more available.

Dexta Robotics is a business that was established in 2014 by a group of enthusiastic robotists. The company's objective is to use sophisticated robotics technology to build VR/MR's next-generation interaction interface and accelerate its popularization. Dexta Robotics currently holds over 30 patents globally and is the world's leading interaction system developer and manufacturer.
