Innodisk Unveils New Embedded eXtreme Technology to Support Embedded Applications

    By apacciooutlook | Friday, June 10, 2016

TAIPEI, Innodisk, a provider of service-driven flash, DRAM module, and embedded peripheral, is demonstrating diverse array of products under “NEXT” (New Embedded eXtreme Technology). The products include flash storage, DRAM for embedded and server applications, industrial flash management software, and embedded peripheral modules.

    New linage of flash storage

The innovative vertically designed M.2 storage device, M2DOM, offers flexibility to the designer while laying out motherboard and can save up to 90% more space than the horizontal M.2 device. It is compatible with multiple interfaces SATA, PCIe and USB. Innodisk introduces new flash storage with high quality chips, the 3ME4 series supports the industrial mainstream SATA III interface, and the 3ME series supports the new generation PCIe interface. Both series feature a small form factor, high performance, and longer lifespan.

Innodisk will feature the 3MG2-P with AES function SSD series, iSMART5.0 software with a user-friendly dashboard feature, and iAnalyzer which monitors and more efficiently predicts the lifespan of an SSD. The SATADOM and high performance 3MG2-P series with Pin 8 Technology use the SATA connector as a power supply to power the device.

    DRAM for various applications

Innodisk will showcase the world’s fastest DDR4 Server memory suitable for cloud computing, database and HPC applications. Innodisk’s 21333MHz DDR4 32GB Registered represents the capability of Innodisks’s server and embedded memory portfolio. Innodisk’s high capacity DDR3 in 1600MHz with 16GB storage comes with an ultra-low profile design, improving thermal performance and making it suitable for IOT devices.

    Communication and RAID Modules

The RAID module features iRAID software that not only monitors RAID status, but supports different RAID modes and retrieves SMART information for each SSD. Innodisk introduces industrial grade communication modules to fulfill various applications including: EMUC-B201 CANBus cards which support Socket, EGPL-G4P1 series PoE cards, EMUI series digital I/O expansion cards and EGPL series M.2 LAN cards. This provides flash storage and backup functions.

    In-vehicle and Military application products

Innodisk's flash and DRAM products for in-vehicle computing systems are designed for operation in the harsh interior of automobiles. Its low-power consumption and heat and shock resistance makes most reliable automotive storage solution.
