FREMONT, CA: Iron Mountain, a provider of information technology and services, announces the release of a new cloud service, IM Cloud Archive which offers a cost effective, secure repository for data with near-infinite scalability.

The new cloud service by Iron Mountain allows any type of data to be securely stored in its repository and accessible from anywhere and at anytime. The service is suitable for organizations needing to protect and preserve their data to be retained for a short or long term for compliance, legal or value-creation purposes.

    IM Cloud Archive

IM Cloud Archive has been designed to enable "near-infinite" scalability to meet growing demands as the volume of data grows andalso offers a pay-as-you-use model. IM Cloud Archive is also equipped with enterprise-class Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and stringent security protocols for data availability, durability, survivorship and portability.

Iron Mountain Cloud Archive services features a cost effective, highly secure and highly scalable cloud service. The  solution protects and preserves data over a long period of time and is easily accessible.

Iron Mountain Cloud Archive protects and preserves archived data through robust data protection policies and distribution models, as well as built-in self-healing capabilities. Data is protected offsite with geo-redundant replication between two of Iron Mountain’s secure data centers. The cloud also provides on-demand online secure access from multiple devices, locations and variety of applications.

Iron Mountain Cloud Archive can immediately expand storage capacity by terabytes, petabytes, or exabytes as the client subscribes and chooses.

Iron Mountain Cloud Archive provides strong security for data in-flight and at rest, protecting and securing content using in-flight encryption and at-rest encryption. It also offers a cost effective pricing structure as customers pay for the volume of data being protected. This allows customers to expand or contract their storage capacity without concerns about under or over-provisioning.
