SAN JOSE, CA: Lenovo collaborates with Nimble Storage to enhance the capability of data centers by increasing its efficiency and scalability. The partnership will foster the IT enterprises to stress more on business development and spending less time in maintenance.

Lenovo’s XClarity infrastructure management software integrated with Nimble InfoSight leverages the predictive analytic platform to automate support service for better business insights. The partnership aims to employ the data centers with self-healing system management capabilities across the entire data center infrastructure, including storage, compute, and networking. The alliance further focuses to identify the problem in its early stages and take automated preventive measures to rectify it for better value to the business.

It simplifies the task of the administrators by providing the right information to solve the critical tasks using dashboard-driven graphical user interface.

Lenovo further announces the ThinkAgile CX Series with storage capabilities based on Nimble Predictive All Flash arrays. ThinkAgile CX Series combines the hybrid storage system of Nimble with Lenovo’s rack-mount and blade servers to provide a converged infrastructure solution.

“This strategic relationship with Nimble enables us to deliver a state of the art all flash offering, further extending the industry’s best customer experience by leveraging the predictive analytics platform, InfoSight, all while providing a lower TCO,” says David Lincoln, executive director and general manager of Server, Storage and Solutions Business Unit, Data Center Business Group, Lenovo. “Through this new alliance, we are able to deliver a continuous integration of hardware, software, and analytics support, establishing the means to develop the next generation all flash data center and drive strategic value for our customers.”
