Manila-based edtech platform Edukasyon.ph will utilize the latest Series A round to boost education and employment in the Philippines.

FREMONT, CA: Edukayson.ph, an education-technology platform in the Philippines, closed its Series A funding round. The fund value was undisclosed. The round was led by Asian and European VCs such as Eula Capital Partners, Obunsha Ventures, Alternate Ventures, Lorient Foundation, French Partners, First Asia Venture Capital, KSR Ventures, and Foment Capital Partners. The Manila-based startup has allegedly closed its pre-Series A round in May 2008 and also obtained the Gobi-Core Philippine Fund in early 2019.

Ever Since its conception in 2015, Edukasyon.ph has provided access to more than 10 million visitors to senior high schools, colleges, and universities, scholarships, online courses, and other resources. This has opened up successful education to employment chances in partnerships with more than 500 schools, 50 corporations, and foundations. Edukasyon.ph has placed its focus on empowering the Filipino Gen Z youth to create self-awareness and the decisions that guarantee a fulfilling career and life. In 2019, Edukasyon.ph established a nationwide presence by launching offices in Cebu and Davao.

Out of two million teenagers who turn 18 every year, 80 per cent of the considerable portion has given up higher education to choose employment and end up with poor life outcomes. Edukasyon.ph was conceptualized as an ideal method to concentrate resources, facilitate the investigation, and application of the solution to various schools so that the students have the power to take control of the choices and options to choose. They are prepared to make well-informed decisions.

Over the last few years, Edukasyon.ph has substantially expanded the variety of the content that was being offered. Multimedia channels are utilized to enable the students to learn and set a benchmark for guidance by navigating their life and to prepare for the upcoming examinations. In a few months, Edukasyon.ph has plans of unveiling a new platform that features as it strengthens the network partners from all over the country and the globe.
