    MapR Launches New Partner Program to Enhance Customer Experience and Address Growing Demand

    SAN JOSE, CA: MapR, a provider of big data analytics services and solutions, announces launch of MapR Converge Partners Program. The program focuses on fostering alliance between selected consultancies, platform and software providers, resellers, and distributors.

    The MapR Converge Partner global program will enable partners with the technical and go-to-market resources required to deliver customer experiences and address the growing demand for the MapR Platform.

    In recent times, MapR has experienced a growing demand for its platform solutions with 100% growth in the Americas and EMEA. The APAC region showed a growth rate of 140%. Many big data channel, system integration and technology companies with recognized presence in these geographies have partnered with MapR, adding to its ecosystem.

    The Converge Partners program consists of Affiliate, Preferred and Elite tiers. TheAffiliate tier is for new partners with demonstrated industry expertise while Preferred level is for established partners with regional presence that provide leading value-add and solution sets. Companies that impact and provide industry standards , proven MapR track record and significant global presence are placed in invite based the Elite level.

    The program aims to help MapR partners exploit production-ready converged data solutions to support their customer’s mission critical and global real-time applications. Technology partners can also receive product certification to verify interoperability with MapR. Leveraging this new extended MapR ecosystem, customers can lower costs and risk associated with custom-built solutions.

    The MapR Converged Data Platform is designed to integrate file, database, processing and event streaming data for storage, processing and analysis, all in a single platform. The platform consists of an architecture designed for business-critical applications, seamless data access, and capabilities to run in real-time both operational and analytical processing and applications on the platform.

    “Earlier this year we shipped the new MapR Converged Data Platform, which serves as a single agile platform to unify data and provide the flexibility to easily adapt to emerging technologies and changing business conditions,” says Geneva Lake, vice president, worldwide alliances, MapR Technologies. “The industry recognizes that we provide a highly differentiated data platform and we have built up this worldwide alliance program to help our partners drive new revenue and accelerate big data deployments worldwide.”
