NEW YORK: MapR releases new capabilities of “MapR Platform” to manage and develop support for agile microservices application. MapR’s Converged Data Platform leverages continuous analytics and automotive actions to provide better service in businesses.
Converged Data Platform
The converged data platform enables developers to combine machine learning and analytic functions directly on the data. Microservices can be arranged on this platform with an underlying framework to reduce the latency of transferred and stored data.
MapR enables comprehensive monitoring of cluster wide operations in a single pane of glassview. The new feature simplifies the development lifecycle and the multivariate testing allows rapid machine learning model development.
New Offerings of MapR
MapR’s Converged Data Platform provides security and access control for data volumes. The containerized application can be developed on Docker using this platform. It also supports hybrid cloud microservices architecture with global scale service and scale out capabilities.
“Microservices by themselves are great, but don’t deliver on their full promise until you have a converged platform that brings the data together,” says Anil Gadre, Senior Vice President, product management, MapR Technologies. “We’ve made it easier for developers to build innovative new converged applications that can help transform a business by providing a competitive advantage that was not possible before.”
