FREMONT, CA: Microsoft partners with NetEnrich, an information technology and service provider, to narrow the gap between Small and Midsize businesses (SMBs) and cloud.
Microsoft selected NetEnrich to deliver Azure deployment services to Microsoft Value-Added-Resellers (VARs) that serve the small and midsize business community. NetEnrich will serve as the provider of Azure Backup, Site Recovery and application migration and management services to Microsoft value-added resellers (VARs) and cloud solution providers (CSPs).
According to to Raju Checkuri, founder and CEO of NetEnrich, the cloud has made enterprise-grade IT capabilities more feasible for SMBs to adopt. But only a few numbers of SMBs are using the cloud- with reference to Azure, to its full potential.
Azure Backup, Site Recovery and application migration and management services are used byIT organizations to help ensure that their data is safely stored in Microsoft’s cloud centers. In case of a failure within the organization’s storage systems, the organization can quickly resume their operations by utilizing these services.
The partnership between Microsoft and NetEnrich offers the Azure Backup and Site Recovery capabilities as a set of white-label services, making it easier for VARs to implement them for their SMB customers and potentially further drive Azure adoption.
The Packaged NetEnrich services are available in three options such as Securing and preserving customer data and cloud backup via Azure, and variations on backup services; Infrastructure as a service, or moving applications to the cloud; and more complex services around scaling applications built around Microsoft's .Net framework using either Infrastructure as a Service or platform as a service.
"Focused on empowering customers to capitalize on the benefits of cloud, and our partners are key to providing the expertise and support they need to plan their strategy and maximize their Azure investments,” says Hyder Ali, CTO of Microsoft's Worldwide SMB group, in a statement. “NetEnrich will provide a valuable service in a predictable and scalable way to those partners seeking best practices and standard approaches to an Azure migration and deployment, which will mean faster time to value for our customers," he added.
