FREMONT, CA: Mimecast –a cloud-based email security service provider– announces Cyber Resilience Coalition (CRC). Joining hands with PhishMe, a human phishing defence solution provider, Mimecast aims to provide organizations with anti-phishing cloud security services and a 360 degree behavioural conditioning for employees in terms of phishing. The motive behind this convention is to help organizations strengthen their approach towards cyber resilience.
“As most organizations become fully operationally dependent on the cloud and third-party technology infrastructures, they need totake a fresh and comprehensive look at their security, data protection, business continuity and employee training practices,” says Peter Bauer, CEO, Mimecast. “Through our partnership with PhishMe, organizations will get the resources they need for a well-rounded cyber resilience strategy: proven technology and immersive behavioural conditioning. Together, we will give organizations the visibility and control needed to more effectively fight email-based advanced threats while helping users understand good security practices.”
The growing rate of successful phishing attacks highlights a gap between the solutions provided by various companies and the ability of people to actively participate in the mitigating threats, making it essential to develop critical security resources for enhanced email security and threat detection. Thus PhishMe and Mimecast is working together to combat cybercrime aimed at employees by implementing on a human phishing defence strategy.
