TOKYO, JAPAN: Mitsubishi announces to release 200 factory automation (FA) devices for the company’s CC-Link IE Field Network products. The devices incorporates FA and IT technology to bring advance IoT and improve cost efficiency in manufacturing.
CC-Link IE Field Network Architecture
CC-Link IE Field Network is an open field network that connect devices and controllers by deploying 100 Mbps general-purpose Ethernet communication. It expands the use of e-Factory solutions that allowsthe production and maintenance units to develop. It further monitors the productivity and operational activity to help the end user bring better business results.
Features of CC-Link IE Field Network
The CC-Link IE Field Network is capable of building networks without the intervention of any expertise. The devices incorporate all the capabilities of CC-Link IE Field Network and provide an easy network setup without going on to the technical aspects of Ethernet. The construction time of the devices has been reduced as the linked devices are addressed automatically. Ethernet uses single network wiring from high-order IT systems to reduce the cost and efficiency of the process.
