MVNO market going along with 5G

Apac CIO Outlook | Tuesday, December 07, 2021
    Tweet

The 5G deployment is increasing significantly in America, which has led to the rise of MVNO industry, now is expected to be worth more than US 125 billion dollars by 2027

FREMONT, CA: What is driving the growth in the mobile virtual network operators (MVNO) industry is the effect of advancement in technology in 5G and IoT. Current developments also indicate high demand flexibility and a broader selection of services for businesses and end-users.

Recent times have shown that MNVOs are coming up with innovative rates and plans lower than the mobile network operators. Operators are implementing growth strategies to stay ahead of the competition. For example, Dish Cellphone, said in September that its Boost Mobile business intends to acquire Gen Mobile, a prepaid wireless operator.  The global MVNO industry is expected to be worth more than US 125 billion dollars by 2027, owing to rising smartphone penetration, an increase in business users, and the deployment of 5G and IoT.

According to 5G Americas, an epic rise has been seen in 5G deployment to the extent where the number of connections will surpass 451 million by 2025, in North America. Over time, APAC-based mobile virtual network operators have held the domestic market by providing services that go along with the budget and are unique. To suffice the growing demand, operators are continuously expanding the options for wireless offerings. Mobile virtual network operators (MVNOs) are making use of the growing usage of next-generation networks to extend their service offerings and create new business models. 5G subscriptions in Asia-Pacific might reach 1.14 billion by 2024, accounting for two-thirds of all worldwide subscriptions. MVNOs use e-SIM to connect with consumers and give IoT solutions to businesses. Because e-SIMs allows users to connect with any operator at any time, their use is fast increasing. MVNOs may open new doors by bringing innovative, creative, and customer-focused solutions to market.
