New Cloud-Based Payments In The APAC Region With Simply Tapp, Prompt Now and TIS

SimplyTapp, PromptNow and TIS have taken initiative and come up with the first end-to-end, Cloud-based payments solution to banking and financial service community in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.  This has become popular among the fast growing Android users, who use their devices for proximity payments and other real-world transactions.

SimplyTapp, PromptNow and TIS have brought together their expertise and works together to complement each other in making the Cloud-based payments solution simple and secured. SimplyTapp’s Technology hosts a virtual payment card on the device, essentially removing the need to carry physical cards. SimplyTapp is a provider of mobile commerce services combined with Android host card emulation (HCE) with a cloud platform that makes transactions easy and secure. Promptnow is a company focusing on mobility solutions and dealing in various fields like mobile banking, mobile insurance agent, mobile payment and many more. TIS, on the other hand, is an IT solutions provider. SimplyTapp’s card visualization and HCE is the underlying technology behind the service. TIS Inc’s financial-grade data centers in association with PromptNow’s implementation services will help keeping the process safe and sound.

Together they have merged and made it simple for the APAC customers in making banking and financial transactions. Several major banks have adopted this technique to let their customers benefit while making mobile payments via their user friendly software. This new venture will enable the Android users of those banks to tap-and-pay at POS terminals from their devices. In view of mobile banking Dr. Koson Sapprasert, SVP and Head of Innovation at Siam Commercial Bank said, “Our bank is focused on innovation and establishing ourselves as a market leader in mobile banking. We are thrilled to carry out a Host Card Emulation pilot as part of our innovation roadmap to engage with new technologies.
