    KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA: Honeywell announces that a subsidiary of PetroVietnam leverages IIoT based Connected Performance Services (CPS) for enhancing the manufacturing operations in Quang Ngai City, Vietnam. CPS technology amalgamates with Honeywell UOP’s deep process knowledge to reduce unplanned shutdown and enhance better productivity in enterprises.

    CPS provides real-time insights to examine the fault or any technical defects occurring in manufacturing units. It leverages IIoT technologies to entitle industrial units with supply chain efficiency and asset optimization. CPSfurther monitors the interoperability in industries to reduce production downtown for better business insights.

    The service further deploys UOP process models, big data analytics, and machine learning to provide real time response to rectify all the operational failures in manufacturing units. The Honeywell UOP process advisor further provides additional direction to enhance the power efficiency and communication between the industry personals by leveraging Honeywell UOP's troubleshooting expertise.

    "Honeywell's CPS technology uses the plant's own process data with cloud-based optimization and reliability solutions to ensure the operation runs at peak efficiency," said Zak Alzein, vice president for Honeywell UOP's CPS business. "Honeywell will be in a position to use plant-specific information to provide BSR with actionable recommendations that can significantly improve its profitability."
