STAMFORD, CT: Pitney Bowes, a provider of innovative products and solutions to power commerce, announces the launch of Pitney Bowes Commerce Cloud to help businesses access to commerce solutions, analytics and APIs’ for simplifying shipping, communication and managing payments anywhere to everywhere.
Pitney Bowes will expand its business in digital commerce and shipping market by $40 billion. Pitney Bowes Commerce Cloud can be accessed though PCs, mobile devices, connected metering devices, or via APIs. This cloud platform aids clients in full range of shipping, mailing, ecommerce, location intelligence, customer information management, customer engagement and payment solutions that simplify and enable all forms of commerce innovations.
Pitney Bowes launches SendPro, an office shipping application which simplifies sending of parcels and flats. It’s a cloud based shipping solution which manages multi-carrier shipping operations online, including the U.S. Postal Service, FedEx and UPS, and provides the information needed to select the best option for each item based on service level and price. SendPro is available as SaaS solution in PCs’, mobile app & Tablets which can be downloaded From Windows App store. Users will be able to use Cortana for voice activated shipping that seamlessly connects with their address and contact management programs, including Outlook, Gmail and LinkedIn.
SendPro also utilizes cloud based capabilities of Pitney Bowes like address validation which updates the clients with address validation of the last delivered package from last 12months.
Pitney Bowes simplifies cross-border commerce by introducing Global trade solution, which facilitates the calculation of customs charges, duties and currency conversions and it is integrated with SendPro.
Pitney Bowes is collaborating with leading cloud technology companies, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Salesforce.com, GE, Microsoft, Apigee, MongoDB and Okta, to deliver a reliable, modern digital client experience, rapid product development, scalability and faster speed to market. Pitney Bowes has launched seven products in AWS Marketplace for Location Intelligence and Customer Information Management. Pitney Bowes also created a “Cloud Center of Excellence” providing access to available tools and technology from AWS. The Center of Excellence will help create new enterprise transformation solutions provided by Pitney Bowes leveraging the AWS Cloud.
