According to a report from the world's biggest job site ‘Indeed', in the last two years, there has been a big increase in AI jobs in Australia. Albeit AI has proliferated lately in this part of the world; there aren't enough people who are specialist in AI. The report further states in the last year the void has increased by 306 percent. This data proves how the demand for AI skills has risen, but interest in roles hasn't developed the same pace. Also, a survey from Accenture reports that businesses in Australia are ready to embrace AI technology and the country could potentially benefit close to $400 billion increase in GDP by the fiscal year 2035 which may help to potentially garner an economic growth from 2.2 to 3.7 percent. The report also states with AI the Australian economy will grow by multifold times.
Catering Different Industries
The primary roles in AI include Machine Learning engineers and Software Developers in various sectors such as banking, universities, and commerce. The AI sector is likely to keep growing as the reach of technology has reached almost every industry today. By propelling several training programs and investment in education, the AI market is expected to boom further in the coming years and play a major part in the growth of Australian economy.
