Quake Global Launches Battery Powered Equipment Locator for Caterpillar

SAN DIEGO, CA: Quake Global, a provider of IoT and M2M solutions to global markets, announces the launch of a Locator product family for Caterpillar, a manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, natural gas engines, and industrial gas turbines. This product is designed to remotely monitor non-powered assets worldwide while operating in extreme conditions.
The product is designed completely in a compact package to provide multi-year battery life. The Locator’s two-way communication over satellite or terrestrial networks increases the accuracy of GPS asset location and utilization in industrial, construction, and military environments. The Locator device enables wide usage, “slap and track” technology an ideal and flexible solution for oil and gas, mining, and construction asset detection.
