KOREA: Samsung Electronics announces a series of solutions to cater for enterprise mobility to help businesses with their security, productivity and needs using Samsung’s KNOX platform.

Samsung aims to deliver Android for Work (AfW) secured with its mobile security platform for Android- Samsung KNOX to be released with the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge devices. This offers AfW customers to realize the same core elements of hardware-backed protection that governments and highly regulated industries provide.

Samsung also announces the Enterprise Device Program (CDP) to be released with the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge. The program allows businesses to make purchase decision securelyand with confidence.  The CDP is based on two core components:

    -Monthly Security updates

Samsung aims to provide security updates for both android core and Samsung specific security patches in a timely manner, giving their customers the assurance that the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge are the best choice in the market.

    -Two-year Device Purchase Program

Samsung is offering a two-year purchase assurance with its Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge, allowing the customer to purchase the same device model up to two years from the market availability date. This allows customers to manage their device’s refresh cycles.

“Samsung is giving enterprises and professionals the most productive and secure mobility experience available on the market today,” says Dr. Injong Rhee, Executive Vice President and Head of R&D, Software and Services, Mobile Communications Business, Samsung Electronics. “We believe that the robustness of Android, along with the award winning security benefits of Samsung KNOX will help bring a new level of productivity for businesses that cannot be matched.”
