SAP announces its initiative on Cloud adoption in India using Metaverse
FREMONT, CA: SAP is a cloud-based solution provider and an enterprise application software that has announced its swoop into Metaverse to accelerate its cloud adoption journey for Indian enterprises. The interactive ‘cloud on wheels’ platform will allow customers across different digital platforms to experience the full range of features that the company has to offer. It is Kulmeet Bawa who is the Indian Subcontinent president & managing director of SAP strongly believes that Metaverse is a representation of the current experience of an economy that provides an experiential platform like never before. By taking advantage of this, SAP hopes to reform various elements of its customer experience and build a network of sustainable cloud companies. Their agenda is to engage with thousands of organizations through the platform over the course of this year.
On the Metaverse platform, users will get an overall view of SAP solutions based on their business profile, size and industry. Customers can create their digital avatars with a view of how they can speed up their digital transformation and cloud migration initiatives. The companies will facilitate interactions with other existing users and they will get a chance to experience a relevant SAP cloud that offers tools according to their current business requirements.
It is designed to engage a ‘digital-first audiences’ experience. SAP has been implementing a digital twin technology which consists of virtual replicas of existing structures, industry processes and capital goods that help customers to predict real scenarios by gaining an insight into them. SAP plans on introducing measures to support digital B2B services by expanding into the metaverse.
The company announced it hired 1,600 employees on June 9th in India this year and they plan to hire 2,000 more employees. SAP is also planning to set up a new campus by 2025 in Bengaluru which will accommodate 15,000 people. Their goal is to involve thousands of organisations through their platform over this year.
