In the dynamic stage of industry innovation, the essence of sustainable partnerships becomes imperative, serving as a keystone for success amidst constant change.

FREMONT, CA: SAP's heightened emphasis on industry innovation has given rise to several recent innovations, with two notable developments being the industry cloud and the supporting partner ecosystem.

There is countless potential to nurture new markets, customers, and revenue streams when firms and industries collaborate at a high level, as is the case at airports. Nearly 400 solutions have been produced by SAP's industry cloud in 25 industry verticals; partners have developed 80 per cent of these solutions, either independently or in conjunction with SAP. These solutions are being used by almost 1,900 distinct customers, who are renewing them at a rate higher than 90 per cent.

    Forces Behind Industry Innovation Momentum

    Preparedness for the Future

A corporate attitude that embraces change and looks for opportunities to innovate—a mindset of future readiness—is necessary in light of the constantly changing and evolving business landscape, which frequently takes unexpected turns.

Future readiness is enhanced on several levels when industry innovation is prioritised. It provides partners with various options to assist their clients in getting ready for a future in which cloud computing solutions will play a major role in their attempts to undergo digital transformation.

According to a prominent international consulting organisation, by 2027, businesses will use industrial cloud platforms to expedite over half of their most important business projects. Furthermore, collaborating in an industry cloud environment like SAP can equip partners with a future-ready business growth model.

    Corporate Ecosystems and Networking Structures

Partners can multiply industry innovation by contributing their knowledge and intellectual property to a business ecosystem such as SAP's industry cloud. This allows partners to move solutions through the development pipeline and to customers more quickly than they could on their own. In certain areas, such as consumer goods, medical sciences, automotive, energy, and industrial manufacturing, where cooperation within industry-focused company ecosystems fosters a new wave of co-innovation, this multiplier effect in action is visible.

    Modularity and integration

Maintaining the industry cloud opportunity map, and a thorough architectural representation of potential and complete solutions that make up the present and future of cloud-based industry innovation is one of the team's responsibilities. A cursory look at the opportunity map provides a compelling overview of all the white space partners might use to bolster their portfolios. Ideas and intellectual property serve as the foundation in this instance.

Partners are welcome to submit use cases that complement, expand, or add to an already-existing solution or that bridge any gaps in the potential map. They may quickly create their concepts and transform them into commercialised solutions that clients can easily integrate using the SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) and SAP Store.

    Converging the Industry

Similar to an airport, traditional value chains are merging and causing the boundaries between industries to blur. As a result, SAP partners have enormous potential to generate new revenue streams based on solutions they can customise for different industries or that clients may use for various industries. For example, the charging of electric vehicles is sparked by the convergence of automotive, energy, oil and gas, utility, retail, and consumer items. This makes it easier for SAP partners with use cases and intellectual property in these fields to work together and develop fresh solutions that will benefit clients.

    Customer Experience

The objective is to provide clients with all the tools they require to succeed in digital solutions by concentrating on industry innovation. The more the ability as an ecosystem—SAP included—to provide the solutions consumers require, the more trust they earn. And that gives SAP, partners, and consumers even more opportunities—opportunities that evoke the same sense of familiarity.

In this changing landscape, these partnerships' adaptability and shared vision become crucial assets, driving collective resilience and growth. This summary encapsulates the pivotal role of sustainable partnerships in harmonising with and thriving within the ever-shifting dynamics of industry innovation.
