SkyKick, a global provider of cloud services recently made its plan public to enter into the APAC market through a partnership with SoftBank C&S. The deal will offer an exclusive distribution agreement for SkyKick to deliver its new category of cloud software called Cloud Management. As a technology partner, the company will provide a range of cloud management solutions to support SoftBank C&S cloud initiatives.

Evan Richman, SkyKick co-CEO says, “Adoption of Cloud services in APAC is growing significantly with spending on these solutions expected to hit $11.5 billion by 2018 in the region. That makes it critical for businesses and their IT partners to find an effective way to manage this Cloud presence, and that’s SkyKick: one integrated platform for managing the Cloud.”

SkyKick is en route to extend its presence in the region by taking operations across Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ). The company is set to launch its new cloud management products in ANZ. Along with it the leaders are also creating a channel to grow their cloud customer base in regions of Hong Kong, Singapore and India.

SkyKick research has concluded that the time spend by developers during cloud management activities is a not at an efficient level. The study finds a clear lag of cloud data and services as the IT companies invest more than three billion hours in developing their cloud solutions. This number has got reduced with SkyKick’s Cloud management products.

While commanding SkyKick Cloud technologies, Shinya Honda, Executive Director at SoftBank C&Ssaid , “SkyKick has revolutionized the cloud practices for IT partners worldwide. Its technology provides partners with greater scalability to migrate and manage businesses in the cloud without needing additional system engineers, and reduces risk enabling partners to confidently manage more customers in the cloud. We're honored to be SkyKick's exclusive channel to Japanese IT professionals."
