Fremont, CA: Dell announces the release of its advanced analytics platform, Dell Statistica 13.2, an integration with analytics marketplaces to enable users to leverage power of the global data science community. It helps companies transform their businesses by embedding analytics everywhere and empowering a wider community of users and use cases.

The platform drives innovation, predicts customer behaviour, and optimizes business and manufacturing processes while democratizing analytics for the masses. The key features include new collective intelligence capabilities to enable native integration with open source and application marketplaces, and enable edge analytics by delivering workflows to any edge device or gateway. The new user interface simplifies workflows for non-technical analysts or citizen data scientists.

This is an initiative to help address the global shortage of data scientists capable of building analytical models. Statistica 13.2 will help technical and non-technical users to access inbuilt nodes of pre-built models and integrate them into their existing Statistica workflow. They need not have the code and can build them manually. The platform also has the ability to export Statistica objects so that non-technical users can edit them in Excel before importing them back into Statistica.

The Rules Builder node deploys directly on an edge device or gateway, to help users perform data prep tasks, execute models, and make conditional model execution and decisions directly where the data lives. It also helps eliminate the heavy lifting involved with transporting data back to a central repository. Statistica 13.2 users are accessible to online marketplaces like Apervita, a leading marketplace for healthcare analytics, Algorithmia, a fast-growing online analytics marketplace, and H20 Sparkling Water for Spark on Hadoop, an open source math and machine learning platform that enables users to access public datasets
