SEATTLE, WA: Tableau, a provider of data visualization solutions, announces the delivery of new APIs in its software to facilitate businesses utilize their data, and share insights with customers instantly. The APIs enables the developers to connect any data source and implement Tableau in random application for easy embedded analytics.
The software engineers can utilize the Developer Portal to communicate with fellow developers. The portal enables the developers to access the APIs and SDKs, share the best results and get support from the community. The APIs are further employed to build new Web Data Connectorsand connect Tableau visualizations into web sites. It also creates a tracking tool to follow interactions with visualizations.
New offering
Tableau’s new APIs enables automatic business processes and extends its capabilities with third party solutions. The REST API can filter the user result and comes with more metadata information options. The APIs keeps the source data updated with the latest document API and creates a template workbook that can be easy installed across multiple servers.
