MUMBAI, INDIA: Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a provider of information technology and services and solutions, announces the launch of Mobile Network Function Virtualization (NFV) Management framework for the Red Hat OpenStack Platform.
TCS’s new framework aims to help global communications service providers (CSPs) expand their NFV deployments to a broader customer base and help them respond swiftly to the increasing demand through the highly scalable Red Hat OpenStack Platform. The framework’s monitoring and management capabilities enables users to manage their NFV operations in a variety of deployment environments.
NFV enables operators to monetize their cloud infrastructure more effectively by providing capabilities to start new servicesquickly and seamlessly meet changing network demands. It also provide them with the ability to monitor their cloud environment and make critical business decisions in near real time is crucial to fully realize the benefits of NFV.
The NFV management framework launched by TCS enables Network administrators to securely and efficiently monitor and manage critical operations with the Red Hat OpenStack Platform, 24x7. The framework provides customizable dashboards and also supports OpenStack business processes such as cloud scaling, virtual machine migration, continuous integration and development.
The NFV management framework also provides real-time insights into private cloud operations such as storage and backup, technology refresh and virtual lab management, to enterprise administrators, enabling overall better administration.
