FREMONT, CA: Telekomunikasi Indonesia International Pte Ltd (Telin Singapore) – a provider of international telecommunication carrier and services – announces that Telin-1 Changi Data Center has been awarded Tier III Certification of Design Documents by Uptime Institute, a globally recognized data center authority.
Telekomunikasi Indonesia International Pte Ltd (Telin Singapore) is a subsidiary of PT Telekominikasi Indonesia International that provides Information technology and services in Indonesia.
Uptime Institutue’s Tier III certification is awarded on the basis of reviews of multiple mechanical and facility criteria as per the Tier Standard: Topology by Upright Institute. Each tier represents a particular function of business and it sets benchmark for power, cooling, maintenance,and capability to withstand a fault.
The tier classification system standardized by Uptime Institute consistently evaluates various data center facilities such as potential site infrastructure performance, or uptime. Tier III certification requires concurrently maintainable data center that has no shutdowns while replacing and maintaining equipments. The redundant critical components of Tier II is added with redundant power and cooling delivery path, so each and every component that supports the IT processing environment can be shut down without impacting IT operation.
Telin Singapore’s commitment to implement critical infrastructure and facilities complying with global standards has enabled the company to achieve this award.
