Fiber-based solution is now the new norm! Deploying innovative wireless communication network allows the interoperability between the IoT and the hospitality sectors, enhancing the customer services.

FREMONT, CA: Ruckus Network expands hospitality connectivity portfolio to add the ICX 7150-24F SWITCH, ICX 7150-C08 compact switch and Fiber Backpack, supporting the H510 Access Point (AP). Ruckus, a wireless technology innovator, delivers the ubiquitous connectivity with access points, switches, and cloud services. The newly launched products add fiber support to the existing Multi-Dwelling Unit (MDU) customers. Offering an end-to-end solution, the company also partners with the Internet of Things (IoT) to build a better ecosystem for business priorities with productive operational efficiencies and to enhance the guest services.

Improving reliability and protection in the hospitality sector, the network solution supports multiple applications by reducing the cost and attracting more investors to the business. Partnering with various IoT ecosystems, Ruckus Network empowers a unified network infrastructure which connects safety buttons, assets, and also helps to manage the energy, online thermostats and location-based advertisements. Linda Hui, the managing director of Ruckus Network, explains, “We understand the various types of IoT devices ready to be rolled out, the objective of their launch, and the related consequences. Taking the same into consideration, we provide a step by step guide for our clients to interlink their IoT devices.”

Allowing the clients to obtain required information from the shared data over the standard network and secure information transfer, Ruckus Network frames reports through the dashboard for deep learning. “We offer a rich understanding and certification of all IoT devices communicating on-premise,” says Linda. The wireless communication solution offers the clients for a comprehensive programming capability. Through APIs and Software Development Kits (SDKs), customers can build an overall smart and energy-efficient infrastructure for their business. Linda states, “As the clients possess unique management platforms, we interact with their managers to offer them suitable connectivity solutions. It’s the concept of ‘Manager of Managers,’ which we follow in our company.”

Aiming to be the largest indoor wireless communication provider in the hospitality sectors, Ruckus Network ranks among the Top 10 IoT Solution Providers by APAC CIOoutlook.
