The holistic experience provided by the integration of digital information supersedes any traditional service, the travel and hospital industry can provide today. Let's see how AR impacts the hospitality industry.

Fremont, CA: The travel and hospitality industry is adopting Augmented Reality (AR) as a tool to improve customer satisfaction and also the profitability. This enthralling technology provides the user's with a real-time environment and hence superimposes the useful data on top.

The holistic experience provided by the integration of digital information supersedes any traditional standalone service, the travel and hospital industry can give today.

Let's see how AR impacts the hospitality industry

Every hospitality industry strives to provide the best service and in turn, increase the customer experience. To achieve this, the hospitality industry has been one of the pioneers to adopt technologies. AR technology in the hospitality industry will align with the needs of the new generation guests and will transform their experience. The varied components and the features of AR like a live picture on various surfaces like TV or a mini fridge will undoubtedly multiply the experience of customers, and the feeling of an infinite yet connected space will make the experience memorable.

Smart Glasses are hitting the market high, but for a better experience in the hotels, it is advised to access AR through devices like tablets, smartphones, and headsets. In the hospitality industry, they are used by the guide to introduce a guest to the hotel's facilities, amenities of the room, information about the lounge, fitness centers, parking areas, and other services in the hotel. This makes a customer feel trendy, hyper-connected, and right at home. For international travelers, AR is used as an interpreter/translator too.

AR helps travelers with map facility too. They are an excellent tool to map a direction. All a guest has to do is just point his/her device at the maps app. AR is changing the way customers interact with companies and brands. Customers now have improved interactions with various brands and companies with the help of AR, which delivers immersive experiences through its many real-world applications.

With these uncountable advantages attached to it, AR is the first choice the hospitality industry is interested in investing in. Businesses are integrating the apps with CRMs, enterprise systems, and maintenance systems to gain more information about their customers. This integrated automated tool help boosts productivity, efficiency, and decrease cost. With this, it also acts as a preventive maintenance tool that helps keep guests safe.
