SINGAPORE: Visa signs three-year exclusive partnership with DragonPass, a travel benefits and services provider, and announces the launch of ‘Visa airport companion’ program. This program offers Visa cardholders a complete airport experience via a digitally integrated mobile platform.
‘Visa airport companion’ program is a platform that includes in-app payment, card verification, smart recommendations and push notifications along with benefits like exclusive discounts to amenities and services at the airport such as lounges, restaurants, spas, retail, limousines and meet and greet services. Visa APIs are integrated into the mobile platform to allow seamless verification on card and program eligibility. The app is customisable and can be co-branded or white-labelled.
The new offer provides card issuers theability to scale and select service modules to meet varying card propositions or tactical campaigns. It is completely customisable and allows issuers to tailor program individual cardholder level.
This program is a unique digital proposition providing Visa customers exclusive access and privileges over a set of facilities and services in airports globally. The motive behind this entire program is to provide every traveller a flawless and enjoyable travel experience. The program has been planned to reach and maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty and address every traveller’s touch point.
"Airports are fast becoming commerce hubs, with growing number of travellers, retail stores and spend. About 7.5 billion people are expected to pass through an airport in 2019 with expected sales of about $60 billion at airports. Besides airport lounges, F&B establishments are most frequented across all traveller segments, followed by shopping. Visa is constantly exploring ways in which we stay ahead of the curve in bringing value to our cardholders. Visa airport companion program provides Visa cardholders a one-stop shop to enjoy the various offerings on a digital platform," says TS Anil, Senior Vice President, Head of Products, Asia Pacific, Visa.
