What Brexit gloom? Global mining & investment community head to Mining Investment London Conference in Nov for new deals

By Apac CIO Outlook | Wednesday, December 18, 2019
    Tweet

Mining Investment London: Conference debuts in London, UK from 26 – 27 Nov 2017. Despite the lingering uncertainty over Brexit, global mining stakeholders continue to recognise London as a major global financial hub for mining investments. Thus, Mining Investment London Conference has already proven to be a hit, with around 10 mining companies and states across Africa coming onboard to sponsor and exhibit so far.

Mining Investment London Conference, organised by Spire Events (Singapore), connects miners, investors and service providers for new business opportunities and this will be the series’ second stop in Europe after Frankfurt, Germany earlier in June 2017.

What makes Mining Investment London Conference different?

Mining Investment Conferences recognise the importance of making personal and concrete connections rather than rushed conversations. Hence sponsors, exhibitors, speakers and delegates are given ample opportunity to network and profile their organisations, be it through roundtable discussions, presentations or refreshments, to establish long term business deals beyond the duration of the conference.

In terms of knowledge acquisition, Mining Investment Conferences believe in catering to a wide spectrum of the mining industry, with topics ranging from finance & investment, commodities trends, mining technology and legal issues.

In addition, since 2017, inclusion and diversity (I&D) has been an important theme at our conferences, with Chairpersons from Women in Mining organisations, prominent female mining leaders and companies with exemplary Women in Mining practices sponsoring and speaking at our conferences. Mining Investment London continues to support I&D and is proud to have International Women in Mining (IWIM) Founder and Director Ms Barbara Dischinger as one of our speakers.

Global focus of Mining Investment London Conference

Mining Investment London Conference has already secured international sponsors from Ghana, Nigeria and South Africa, with continued strong interest from UK, Germany, Turkey, Central Asia and Asia to sign up and attend.

Mr Thinawanga Ernest Mammba, CEO of Mammba Metal Group South Africa and Gold Sponsor said ‘Mammba Metal Group is proud to be the Gold Sponsor for Mining Investment London and we look forward to showcasing our company and South African mining industry in London.’

Background on Mining Investment Global Conferences

Mining Investment London is part of a global Mining Investment Conference Series organised by Spire Events since 2015. In 2017, Mining Investment Asia, Botswana, Africa, Europe, India, Central America, Middle East have already been successfully held in Singapore, Gaborone, Abuja, Frankfurt, New Delhi, Panama and Oman respectively. The conference will launch in new destinations - China, UK, Ghana, Canada and Argentina across 2017 and 2018.
