Wind River Collaborates with IBM to Elevate Edge-to-Cloud IoT Deployments for Industrial Customers

ALAMEDA, CA: Wind River, a provider of software solutions for Internet of Things (IoT), partners with IBM to advance IoT deployments for industrial customers with new “edge-to-cloud” recipes designed to simplify and accelerate the development of smart connected devices
The recipe guides customers to integrate services from IBM Watson IoT Cloud Platform with products from the Wind River Helix portfolio. Industrial customers can use the recipe to be instructed as to how to be able to connect their industrial devices running on Wind River, to the IBM Watson IoT Cloud Platform, IBM IoT Real-Time Insights and IBM Bluemix cloud services and analytics. This will allow IoT developers to quicken the process of developing smart connected devices.
The IBM and Wind River recipes and reference architectures also provides the necessary building blocks required for a complete IoT solutions, device management and the application of IBM machine learning to IoT. The reference architectures include capabilities to manage and deploy devices and systems across market segments, including smart building, transportation, factory automation, and healthcare.
The partnership will provide elements that can be used by clients for a complete edge-to-cloud IoT Solution.
