Zebra Technologies Boosts Workforce Productivity with New Mobile Computer

    By apacciooutlook | Thursday, November 07, 2019

FREMONT, CA: Zebra technologies, a provider of enterprise mobile computing and data capture solutions provider, unveils new enterprise mobile computer TC8000 that accelerates the workforce productivity of warehouses by 14 percent without disrupting the existing IT systems.

The new light weighted mobile computer reduces weariness of workers. It eliminates the use of ‘tilt and verify’ motions on every scan, thereby increasing efficiency and boosting man-hours.

TC8000 scans quickly and effectively in any situation. It allows wearable scanning, voice directed picking with Tekspeech Pro, and push-to-talk communications with Workforce Connect boosting productivity hours.

The Android-based TC8000 with reduced wrist motion minimizes the training time, and enables fast and accurate data entry in demanding industrial conditions. The solution is packed with triple-shift battery power that can be used in applications of ware house management, inventory management, store receiving, price audits, Voice-directed Picking (VDP) and supply-line replenishment.

The mobile computer incorporates the All-touch Terminal Emulation solution powered by Wavelink, easily turns the ‘green screen’ terminal emulation application into an intuitive HTML5 application, reducing keystrokes and improving process efficiency.

TC8000 with Zebra’s SimulScan Document Capture feature enables workers to capture bar codes, text fields, phone numbers, images, signatures and check boxes in a single scan.

Zebra One Care Support Service contracts provide TC8000 with comprehensive coverage, technical support, software updates, and unique device diagnostics that addresses WLAN connectivity, memory and battery issues. It reduces unexpected service expenses and improves mobile worker productivity with minimum downtime.

“The TC8000 mobile computer represents the greatest advancement in warehouse technology in more than two decades with its revolutionary design contributing to an extra hour of productivity per worker per shift without disrupting existing IT systems,” says Bill Burns, SVP, Enterprise Visibility and Mobility, Zebra Technologies. “Warehouses are evolving from simplified operations to tightly integrated profit centers as companies increasingly rely on analytics to drive business decisions. The TC8000 will help warehouse workers be more efficient and deliver more accurate information, ultimately helping businesses operate more profitably.”
