O2O Ecommerce: Powering the Ecommerce Businesses in the Post Pandemic World

As the world pivots from barely sustaining the COVID-19 crisis to almost fully recovering from the pandemic, one hypothesis has ascertained itself as an absolute reality: More and more consumers now prefer fulfilling their daily household needs through ecommerce websites rather than visiting brick and mortar stores. This shift is encouraging many retailers worldwide to make their businesses available on a consumer’s desktop or mobile phones. Playing a critical role in this paradigm shift and helping many retailers enter the realm of ecommerce is Malaysia-based O2O Ecommerce. The company has developed an all-in-one ecommerce platform that powers hundreds of businesses to start, run, and grow their operations online.

The O2O Ecommerce’s SaaS platform offers retailers every possible tool they need to set up an online presence at par with other digital native ecommerce giants. Using the platform’s web designing features, retailers can create their online stores based on both templatized and custom designs. The website templates come with various designs and themes, making them suitable for diverse types of online shops.
Retailers can either pick one of O2O’s predefined templates that suit their brand color and theme to start running their online store in no time, or they can work with O2O’s professional design teams to design the website based on their preferred style and color theme. Online retailers can also add their preferred payment gateways to easily collect money from their end customers.

But O2O Ecommerce’s offering is not limited to an integrated ecommerce platform; the company’s services expand to the management of the business as well. In addition to its ecommerce platform, O2O also offers services pertaining to creative branding, payment solutions, digital marketing, logistics, warehousing and fulfilments, multi-channel points of sales, multi-channel loyalty programs, business analytics, and accounting. These services help retailers achieve holistic operational success and stay at par with the existing retail giants. O2O Ecommerce also offers education and coaching for retailers to maintain a successful online presence.

The O2O Ecommerce’s SaaS platform offers retailers every possible tool they need to set up an online presence at par with other digital native ecommerce giants

The benefits of O2O Ecommerce’s capabilities can be best explained through a case study. Christy, one of the famous apparel brands of Malaysia, was selling only on a web portal. But thanks to O2O Ecommerce’s digital marketing, designing, and ecommerce services, Christy has now grown to eight physical retail stores, online marketplaces, and two of their own brand stores, making them one of the Top ecommerce sites in Malaysia.

Moving forward, O2O Ecommerce is focused on incorporating Rent-to-own and Buy Now Pay Later services within its dedicated payment gateway for the ecommerce platform. O2O Ecommerce is currently working with BNPL companies like Hoolah, Atome, Ablr, Grab, and similar brands to weigh in different opportunities. Besides, the company is also planning to help its clients leverage of Non-Fungible-Tokens (NFT) in ecommerce businesses. The retail giant Nike has already started producing its own “cryptokicks” and creating its own blockchain system that will give customers the opportunity to both own the product in 3D and get their hands on the corresponding NFT too. And O2O is poised to give its clients similar functionalities for their online shops and prepare them for a bold new world.
