    Omnyfy: Multi-Vendor Marketplace Platform

,Alexis Susser, General Manager, Sales & Marketing, OmnyfyAlexis Susser, General Manager, Sales & Marketing
The growth and expansion opportunities that a multi-vendor marketplace model offers are undeniable, bringing quantifiable and actionable results for those who adopt it. What started out as a means of establishing a central location from which to purchase from multiple vendors, has evolved into one of the most lucrative business models for online retailers and now progressively for manufacturers and procurement and supply chain organisations.

The value of the above proposition can be observed through the suite of capabilities developed by Omnyfy– a Melbourne, Australia-based company that helps enterprises expand their existing direct-to-consumer or online retail business models, to incorporate multivendor selling through thirdparty and complimentary product offers. The company delivers a feature-rich multi-vendor marketplace platform that helps businesses transform from a single vendor to a multi-vendor business model while streamlining procurement processes through direct engagement between endcustomers and suppliers.

Omnyfy’s uniqueness in the marketplace platform sector is their ability to deploy marketplace that range from B2C product marketplaces right through to complex B2B procurement and Procure2Pay marketplaces delivering one of the most versatile marketplace platform solutions in market today. Omnyfy’s B2B suite has been developed by the company through continuous engagements with their customers with whom they codevelop new innovations in multi-vendor commerce enablement.

Omnyfy helps streamline new supplier onboarding, in turn allowing vendors total control over their products, services and inventory management. The platform supports commission-based or wholesale business models, which enables marketplace owners the flexibility of running almost any type of business model, including Marketplace Mode, Drop-Ship Model or Wholesale Product Aggregation.

“Multi-Vendor commerce is rapidly becoming the de-factor model to scale the top-line sales for directto- consumer manufacturers, online retailers and Supply-Chain enablers.

Multi-Vendor Marketplace Commerce today offers organisations the most extensible and profitable business model to scale existing business or establish new offerings – Omnyfy’s vision is to offer the most versatile, feature rich and adaptable solutions to help organisations recognise and extract value from adopting this model

Omnyfy recognised this early in our inception and we focussed on developing a core marketplace platform with the features that these type of business models required – we’re now seeing the outcome of these early decisions to build Omnyfy in a way that could be extremely versatile for larger scale enterprises that intrinsically need flexibility, connectivity and an architecture that can be deployed into any scenario, whether turnkey or headless”, stated Fabian Rebeiro – CEO and Founder of Omnyfy.

Omnyfy’s solutions are orchestrated through a PaaS architecture, which gives its customers the flexibility to customize the core platform to their business needs without the restrictions imposed by pure SaaS solutions. “We wanted Omnyfy to be a a platform on which business could crate multi-vendor commerce solutions, rather than dictating a feature set that the client had to adhere to. With Omnyfy you’re starting with a foundation that has all the core features required for marketplaces, with the ability to simply build new capability using our global partner network of digital agencies and systems integrators, or by building inhouse teams.” Mr. Rebeiro added. the market quickly with the most relevant and sought-after set of features is crucial for any business transformation, and Omnyfy provides that flexibility with its B2B feature suite, which is probably the richest out-of-the-box feature set in the market today.

Omnyfy services a wide customer base from large enterprise customers through to Small and Medium Enterprises looking to establish niche marketplaces in specific sectors. With clients in over 16 industries and 13 countries and a partner network spanning the world, this Australian tech startup has set its eyes on establishing a global presence early. “We’ve established a global technology infrastructure in 6 global zones – covering the U.S., Europe, U.K, Asia, Australia, and the Middle-East – this gives us the ability to deploy our cloud-marketplace solution in-country to meet strict privacy and data-security obligations, while being near our clients customers to maximise speed and providing the best UX possible” stated Alexis Susser, GM of Sales and Marketing at Omnyfy.

Omnyfy has set cyber security and data privacy as one of our main strategic priorities. Keeping this in mind, the firm has adopted a “Secure-by-Design” principle while designing its e-commerce marketplace. “We have incorporated security requirements, scans, and remediation in every phase of our product and platform development lifecycle,” mentioned Mr. Susser. The company has invested in state-of-the-art security tools and technologies upon careful evaluation to provide a robust and secure marketplace platform for its customers. It has also implemented layered defences in place to protect against evolving threats and vulnerabilities. “Our aim is to provide our customers with the most comprehensive and robust platform on the market,” asserts Susser.

Having established a solid base in Australia, Omnyfy has set its sights on expansion into Europe, U.S. and Asia in 2022. “Our partners have been key in enabling us to land clients in these global markets and we plan on investing heavily in a collaborative go-tomarket strategy via our network, bringing Omnyfy’s technology capabilities to innovative organisations across APAC, Europe and the U.S. Our partners work to design, implement and support clients with in-country resources while Omnyfy’s solutions and delivery team ensure a well architected solution.” Said Mr. Rebeiro.

In just two and half years since the launch of their marketplace product, Omnyfy has grown to over 55 clients, more than doubling their client base every year. Omnyfy counts global organisations and major enterprises including Australia Post, Melbourne Airport, Changi Airport Group, Danaher Corporation and Tools.com as some of their clients.
