Ordermentum: Your orders on your terms

    Follow Ordermentum on :

Thriving in the food industry is the result of finely orchestrated moves that depend on restaurants' response time, and the availability of a delivery executive in the right place at the right time. Therefore, it is possible that in the future, even lower-end traditional-delivery restaurants will migrate to new delivery because they will find it more cost-efficient to outsource logistics; thus, new delivery poses at least a potential threat of disruption to the aggregators. In such a world, Ordermentum exists, an ordering and payments app that has been specifically designed for the food and beverage industry. With Ordermentum, the customers will be able to order from their clients when it suits them, and the instant data and metrics available will enable the client to never miss out on an order.

Ordermentum is integrated with a centralised platform that allows retailers to place orders from their dozens of suppliers, while suppliers manage all their retail customers, their product ranges, and accept orders and payment in one place. Similarly, Ordermentum provides a seamless workflow to support all steps in the ordering process, with a super easy to use the app. The flexibility of payment methods, forward ordering options, and scheduling mean that the clients can take back control of their orders. Pricing can be customized easily at a group and individual levels so that each customer can see their deals and offers. The platform is also capable of automatically printing slips, delivery reports, customer lists by sales representatives, and many more to help its clients focus on the business decisions that matter.

Moreover, the platform also provides an always up-to-date digital catalog that's individualized for each customer. Instead of having to keep up with loads of different ordering methods—emails, phone calls, text messages— Ordermentum's clients and customers will be able to manage and track all of their orders in one centralised place.
Ordermentum also includes a payment solution that instantly charges its client's customers via credit card or direct debit. It syncs with the client's accounting system as soon as an order is placed, generating an invoice, and automatically sending it out. Aside from its clients' inventory, the company's order management systems can also sync with other business tools so that the client can access their most important data anywhere, anytime, resulting in error-free inventory management.

To further elaborate, the contributions of Ordermentum two use cases can be referred to as an example. During one instance, Ordermentum has helped Butter Mafia—a company that sells desserts and other delicacies to bakeries—grow by automating orders, freeing up hours of its clients' time. The owner of Buttermafia Kenn Chia estimates that at least six hours a week have been saved by automating orders. On top of that, taking payment through Ordermentum has truly transformed Kenn's business. On another occasion, Ordermentum has transformed Nook Urban Fresh Bar-Manager Kate's day by taking the stress out of being on a phone call in the middle of service. Now, Kate receives a text on her phone just before 3 pm, clicks the link to confirm her daily orders and can carry on managing the cafe. "Before Ordermentum, ordering was super stressful. We are flat out here, and making orders while we are trying to serve customers is inconvenient and disruptive," points out Kate. With the Ordermentum API, anything is possible as it integrates with the top accounting and inventory platforms to ensure its client's data is always up to date.
