Transforming Mine Planning

ORELOGY

Started as a two-person consultancy, today the company has grown into a team of 20 full-time personnel, delivering avant-garde mine engineering solutions. With more than a decade experience in mining industry, the firm addresses several complex challenges of the mining industry by leveraging world-class techniques and industry standard software platforms. ORELOGY assists mining companies in study and project management, underground mine design, scheduling, technical reports, due diligence, cost modelling, and equipment assessment.

With in-depth understanding of the mining industry, ORELOGY has developed practical solutions within a strategic framework that aptly meets the demand of each of its client. As a part of the improvement process, the firm has developed EVORELUTION, an open-pit mine scheduling solution that harnesses a variety of optimisation techniques. This solution provides strategic values, which maximise the value of mining projects through detailed tactical schedules and focus on equipment utilization. However, in October 2014, Maptek acquired the open-pit scheduling tool and renamed it as EVOLUTION.
