eCommerce Expo DMEXCO Asia to Debut as Standalone Event in Singapore

Digital commerce across Asia-Pacific is becoming increasingly interconnected with artificial intelligence, data strategy and customer engagement, prompting industry events to evolve alongside changing business priorities. eCommerce Expo | DMEXCO Asia will reflect that shift when it debuts as an independent event on April 7 and 8, 2027, at the Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre in Singapore. Previously held as part of Tech Week Singapore, the exhibition is transitioning into a standalone platform dedicated to digital commerce, marketing and technology professionals across the region.

The inaugural independent edition is expected to attract more than 5,000 attendees, alongside 100 exhibitors and 150 speakers representing the digital commerce ecosystem. Organizers said the expanded format is intended to provide a more focused environment for senior decision-makers, enabling discussions that address practical business priorities while strengthening collaboration between marketing, commerce and technology teams. The event is jointly organized by CloserStill Media and Koelnmesse, building on the established eCommerce Expo brand in the UK and DMEXCO's international digital marketing community.

Conference sessions will examine several issues influencing enterprise growth across Asia-Pacific, including cross-border commerce, AI-powered personalization and customer intelligence as well as data-driven marketing strategies. The program will also explore how organizations can combine operational commerce capabilities with marketing technologies to improve business performance. This emphasis reflects the growing demand for integrated digital strategies as enterprises continue investing in customer experience, automation and regional expansion.

The standalone format is designed to encourage deeper engagement between exhibitors, technology providers and enterprise leaders through curated networking opportunities and targeted conference content. Organizers expect the event to create a venue where digital commerce professionals can exchange implementation strategies, evaluate emerging technologies and establish partnerships that support long-term commercial growth across the region.

APAC CIO Outlook serves as a media partner because the event's focus on artificial intelligence, digital transformation, customer intelligence and enterprise technology aligns closely with the publication's editorial coverage of innovations shaping business across Asia-Pacific. Reporting on the discussions and technology developments presented during eCommerce Expo | DMEXCO Asia extends those insights to CIOs and technology executives evaluating digital platforms that influence customer engagement, business growth and enterprise modernization.

The launch of eCommerce Expo | DMEXCO Asia as an independent event signals the increasing convergence of commerce, marketing and enterprise technology. Its dedicated format provides a regional platform for examining how AI, data and digital innovation continue to influence competitive strategies across Asia-Pacific.
