Prosper Education
Language and Skills Training for Tomorrow’s Champs

Prosper Education

Co-Founder & CEO,Martin Beeche, Prosper EducationMartin Beeche, Co-Founder & CEO
It goes without saying that English language training (ELT) and 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, creativity, and technology literacy are at the heart of skill and communications development for any child at the global stage. In such a scenario, schools and language training centres are looking to adopt efficient technology solutions to impart rich education to children. However, with the growing expectations from schools, children, and parents, many existing solutions in the market fail to scale because they simply don’t deliver the required learning outcomes.

Prosper Education is a British education company creating the world’s best learning experiences for children around the globe. Prosper has created RoyalABC, an AI-enabled platform that provides resources, support, and guidance for teachers; offers inspiring lessons, books, and games for children between the age group of two to nine; and real-time reporting and goal monitoring for parents.
Driven by a blended learning approach, RoyalABC provides a modular English language and 21st Century skills curriculum delivered through rich, interactive content into the classroom and into the homes of students. The content brings learning to life with thousands of lessons and interactive media. “Our unique blended learning approach connects learning in the classroom to learning at home,” says Martin Beeche, Co-Founder and Group CEO of Prosper. “We enable this through interactive modes of learning alongside traditional modes, such as reading books and completing activity books. Supporting teachers along their own professional journey is part of our mission.”

RoyalABC does all the heavy lifting so that any teacher can deliver a world class lesson every time

The RoyalABC platform offers two different applications for two diverse purposes: RoyalABC Classroom app for teachers in the classroom and the RoyalABC World app for parents and children at home. Prosper has developed the AI Course Creator tool that enables teachers to follow their traditional teaching methods but with a dash of quality digital content tailored to a particular textbook. The resulting hybrid content allows teachers to improve their teaching capabilities while the learning is brought to life through beautiful interactive digital content. The teachers leverage Prosper’s proprietary ‘One Touch Start’ technology to deliver a lesson with few taps on the screen. “Our AI Course Creator tool and teaching delivery platform does all the heavy lifting so that teachers don’t need to,” says Genevieve Gilmore, APAC CEO of Prosper Education. “Most importantly, RoyalABC can be customised for each location, school, administrator, and even teacher.”

It is these aspects that made RoyalABC one of the finalists in the Digital Innovation category in the prestigious British Council ELTons Innovation Awards in London in 2018. In one instance, one of China’s leading kindergarten groups invested $10 million and three years to build an innovative learning platform but ultimately failed to build a platform and content which met the needs of the teachers and delivered the right learning outcomes to the children. Within three months of meeting Prosper, the group shut down their entire English language product team and started using RoyalABC as their co-branded English language learning platform across China.

Prosper was founded by Martin Beeche and Dominic Richards, who closely understand the barriers to learning English and inculcating 21st century skills for children in China. Prosper is built on the work culture that values creativity, respect, and learning and celebrates the rich diversity of gender, culture, and native languages in its team. For the future, Prosper is creating the world’s first master curriculum, which is completely modular and is currently expanding into 10 new countries.
