Qeelyn Analytics: Redefining Wealth Management through Cognitive Technology

,Johnson Yiqiang Guo, Founder & CEO, Qeelyn AnalyticsJohnson Yiqiang Guo, Founder & CEO
Amid all the restrictions and lockdowns, COVID-19 swept through the world and stayed. The pandemic-ravaged year has pushed businesses over the technology tipping point—and transformed the way companies in all sectors and regions do business forever. When it comes to the financial investment space, the pandemic has also given a phenomenal fillip to the way financial institutions or investments work. For long, investment and trading landscape relied on manual, paper-based operations, considering the complications involved in the financial market. However, risk management is one of those areas where the shift to digital has become more pronounced than before. Traders are witnessing growing adoption of technology platforms with integrated analytics and AI tools for monitoring the changing behavior of traders. Evidently, to get ahead of the digitalization curve and bring unparalleled advantages to traders, it is time that finance companies also step up their efforts and replace legacy manual/paper-based procedures with robust technologies. However, it is easier said than done.

Qeelyn Analytics was born to change this narrative. By integrating AI and data analytics into elements of financial investments and wealth management, the company aims to make investments and trading easier, smarter, and more intelligent. “We infuse a lot of cognitive technology into the trading and investment area to modernize processes that still rely on manpower,” says Johnson Yiqiang Guo, Director, Qeelyn Analytics.

In essence, Qeelyn Analytics uses powerful data analytics to optimize productivity by fixing the risk appetite in short selling functions. Through the detailed insights gathered, the company inches close to minimizing complications in the financial realm by analyzing trading behavior. Contrary to the less effective rule-based trading regulation systems, Qeelyn Analytics uses advanced data models to closely monitors price movements, combined with natural language processing engines to monitor alternative data source, in order to minimize risk exposure in extreme situations. It also automizes trading settlements and valuation process and working closely with blockchain technology partners to make settlements on chain to increase transparency for regulators and minimize any potential disputes on valuation and settlement from the source.

We infuse a lot of cognitive technology into the trading and investment area to modernize processes that still rely on manpower

Qeelyn Analytics is moving the needle in the wealth management landscape through its out-of-the-box products, namely AdvisorQ, DeltaOne, and Analysts.Ai. The plethora of products, including financial derivatives trading system (DeltaOne), intelligent investment advisor engine (AdvisorQ), and quantitative analysis engine (QuanTech), have been applied to the company’s own trading platform and a number of customers in the financial sector to meet the individual needs of customers and improve user experience and service levels. With the power of natural language processing and data algorithms and web crawler forming the core, these solutions help clients achieve critical parameters. For instance, AdvisorQ–Qeelyn Analytics’ robotic advisor engine supports asset allocation across borders. The robo advisor applies modern portfolio theory, the Black-Litterman model and other algorithms like alpha hedging, event driven arbitrage, and others to manage investment portfolio of clients’ mutual funds and ETFs.

At the core, the team at Qeelyn Analytics leverages intelligent analytics to analyze the trading behavior of traders, daily volumes and daily price movement patterns of certain stocks and create imaginary scenes that can help traders get the best suitable stocks for cost setting. This strategic focus on the portfolio and the ability to find the stocks most suitable to specific trading strategies of clients allows Qeelyn Analytics to help them maximize their returns. Further, from the profitability point of view, customers can leverage Qeelyn Analytics’ platform to perform customized pricing for a particular category of stocks. They can also locate the stock pool of more profitable traders, and shift from a revenue-based sharing business model. As a result, that increases the client’s profitability, their shareholder profitability and shareholder value,” adds Guo.

Further speaking, Guo goes ahead to paint an evocative picture of Qeelyn Analytics’ products and provides an instance when the company worked with Huayu Securities Limited (HYS), a Hong- Kong based traditional stockbroker. As a firm involved in derivative trading, HYS functioned with several counterparties, including large investment banks. The client’s traditional workflow depended on extensive manpower for reconciliations and settlements, gathering data from all the different counterparties. However, the labor intensive processes not only drained a lot of time but also increased the operating cost for the firm. That was when HYS decided to implement Qeelyn Analytics’ automated settlement engine. In no time, the client began witnessing phenomenal changes and was able to analyze and reconcile the data while also generating daily statements for the users. Today, all HYS has to do is monitor the process as Qeelyn Analytics’ settlement engine takes care of all labor intensive tasks.

As Qeelyn Analytics continues to script similar success stories, it even plans onto expanding its footprints in countries like Singapore. Needless to say, if there’s one company that can be truly credited for the advancement of digital technologies in the financial investment and trading realm, it’s Qeelyn Analytics. The company is also cementing its position in the Shanghai market with its promising R&D center and offices through its state-of-the-art technology-powered solutions. Besides, Qeelyn Analytics also aims to include a wide diversity of products under its hood. To that end, it is keenly working with local security firms and investors to create channels that help it prosper in global markets. All in all, Qeelyn Analytics is leaving no stone unturned to remodel the finance and investment paradigm digitally.
