Firoze M. Zahidur Rahman ,CEO, red grapesFiroze M. Zahidur Rahman , CEO
Today, high capacity networking solutions are highly essential for the success of any organization-both small and large. With rapid growth in technology, tools and modes of communication, the number of end-users has also risen drastically. However, dissatisfaction amongst the end-users and poor productivity due to network traffic may lead to discontinued use of an application. Hence, setting up a network with multiple channels of communication is of paramount importance in the current business scenario. Back in 2010, Red Grapes Pte. Ltd, originated from this need to implement innovative applications of the technology that moved the needle. Having a Telco-grade platform and solution business, the company enables enterprises, SoHo’s and households to optimize network resources and ensure safe internet.

Headquartered in Singapore, with offices and clients across the globe, Red Grapes is a provider of end to end networking solutions, covering a wide range of services to optimise the communication network for its clients. The company’s primary focus lies on the communications infrastructure, security, routing and profiling of the content and services.
To ensure these management needs of its customers, it has developed Onubha Content and IP Services Gateway. Firoze M. Zahidur Rahman, CEO, Red Grapes further elaborates, “By using its holistic features, our clients can restrict any website or assign internet hours to it and to make the task easier for them. OnubhaAccess Point Security features a list of website categories that they can block by selecting the category.” Enterprise Networking Solutions (ENS) and Enterprise Communications Suit (ECS) are another set of services rendered by the company to cater to the networking needs of any enterprise. Dynamic Routing, Intelligent Firewall, VPN, Bandwidth Controller and Gateway Management being the key characteristics of ENS, delivers exclusive feature of creation and assignment of time-bound firewall rules. On the other hand, ECS manages enterprise communication leveraging on same platform for multiple organisations. The main elements of ECS are PABX, Global Address Book, Auto Attendant IVR, Automated Outbound Dialing, SMS Broadcast and Communicator Application for Mobile Device. Describing more about the services of the company, Zahidur Rahman expounds “There are Back Up and Redundancy Management, Advertising Integration and Charging & Billing Integration. Also, an Application Marketplace is integrated for easy discovery of required enterprise communication applications supporting SS7, ISDN PRI, BICC and SIP.”

Today, Red Grapes is handling 10 million voice calls and around four million SMSs through its different platforms per day. In addition, the company also handles 20 million charging request on a daily basis and possesses almost 30 million unique users to access the company’s IVRs every month.Red Grapes has grown by leaps and bounds as its approach to manage, troubleshoot and upgrade the solution has been unparalleled. “We see a big growth in networking space for both enterprise and households. And, this segment is a mass meaning the scalability around this segment is going to be quite high. We’ve also served telecoms and corporate industries so we are confident about our capacity,” adds Zahidur Rahman. In the near future, Red Grapes will endeavor to take the critical tools of the company- Enterprise Networking Solutions (ENS) and Enterprise Communications Suit (ECS) to great heights.
