Safar247 Asia Pacific: Keeping Data Centers Cool

CEO,Tan Cheong Soon, Safar247 Asia PacificTan Cheong Soon, CEO
Keeping equipment cool in high-density data centers is one of the biggest concerns for data center managers. Traditional cooling systems represent 30 percent of the operational costs, and if there is uninterrupted temperature intake for equipment, computer rooms overheat and lead to higher operating costs.

An optimized hot aisle containment (HAC) system can double up a traditional data center’s cooling capacity and help data center managers with much-needed cost savings. Safar247 Asia Pacific’s expertise lies in enabling just that.

“At Safar247 AP, we are setting new standards in the data center space, especially in the design and installation of both hot aisle containment (HAC) and cold aisle containment (CAC) systems, with our professional team of designers, engineers, and technicians,” says Tan Cheong Soon, CEO of Safar247.

Completing a Full Circle of Strategy Building to its Execution and Support

Safar247 differentiates itself through its high-quality workmanship across the entire supply chain, from design to procurement, handling the right products, including server cabinets and cable containment, and managing proficiency to minimize defects during installation.

After the installation, Safar247 offers round-the-clock service support. “Today’s turbulent DC environment requires a prompt response to customer inquiries. We at Safar247 strive to handle customer inquiries 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year,” says Leslie Chan, corporate affair manager at Safar 247.
Underpinning this end-to-end process is its consultative approach that identifies its clients’ exact needs through a series of premeditated steps and advises them on the best solutions that can cater to them.

It also provides constant feedback to its suppliers so they can further improve their products. Safar247’s suppliers are always on the lookout for emerging new technologies in the data center industry to help ease the installation of solutions.

    Driving Growth through Strong R&D

Safar247 believes in constant innovation and has established its R&D lab for that reason. “Annually, we aspire to spend 8 percent of our yearly turnover in R&D depending on the need. In our R&D lab, we are constantly testing and improving our products, as well as developing new data center products and solutions that can meet client needs and expectations. Our R&D is motivated by our need to deliver the best possible solution in the shortest possible time,” says Kennis Chan, CFO of Safar247.

Leading the Charge of Cloud-Driven Data Centers

One of the pillars of our modern era is cloud services. Cloud service providers are often faced with significant challenges in expanding their services. Cloud storage and computing require large-scale support, primarily on physical network deployment, and most providers do not have the capabilities and skilled workforce for it.

At Safar247 AP, we are setting new standards in the data center space, especially in installation and HAC systems, with our professional team of designers, engineers, and technicians

Safar 247 AP’s Network Operations Center (NOC) offers consultation and solutions along with onsite support for the rapid deployment and maintenance of network equipment, including deploying a new production line at a scalable rate.

Paving the Way for a Prosperous Data Center Future

As the saying goes, it takes a minute to learn but a lifetime to master. It is the same for the data center industry. Managing a data center is easy to understand, but the proper application of solutions and products might take years of experience. Safar247 Asia Pacific constantly hones its skills in designing, building, installing, and maintaining a data center infrastructure that organizations need.

“Our advice to any budding entrepreneur thinking of offering IT engineering solutions is to always be patient, flexible, and adaptable,” says Kelvin Tan, business development manager of Safar247.
