    ,Nathan Hight, Co-founder & Director, Safe365Nathan Hight, Co-founder & Director
The health and safety of employees and contractors in the supply chain are paramount to the success of a business. Thus, it’s essential for an organization to ensure that it takes steps to protect its workforce and ensure that it complies with the health and safety legislation of its country, irrespective of its size and nature of operations. The challenge for many companies is relate to cost, visibility of maturity, and the technical complexities involved in aligning with such legislation or recognized standards such as ISO 45001. In many instances, enterprises do not adequately understand their current company maturity in terms of their health, safety, and well-being capability and culture. For over 1,400 enterprises since ‘going live’ in 2016, Safe365 has proved to be an ideal solution that places the required knowledge in the hands of the business, giving customers a way to visualize and measure their capability and culture, enabling the business to focus time, money, and energy on area’s that need improving.“Safe365 software as a service (SaaS) considers the relevant legal reference points with regard to the local health and safety legislation of the country as well as best practice standards such as ISO 45001. The assessment software considers user responses relative to these reference points, applies a risk-based algorithm to identify strengths, weaknesses and then translates this into a practical and pragmatic insights and tools that equip the business with everything it needs to stay on top of Director and C-suite health and safety due diligence and work towards legal compliance and best practice,” begins Mark Kidd, one of the co-founders and a director of Safe365.

"Safe365 is an intelligent cloud-based platform that stimulates collective awareness, lifts capability and culture, and embeds effective health, safety, and well-being practices ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation"

Safe365 is an intelligent cloud-based SaaS platform capable of guiding businesses to maintain compliance with health and safety legislation and ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of the workforce. Committed to making the work environment safer for everyone in the organization, Safe365 is a disruptive game-changer being rapidly adopted by leading organizations. “Our solution is truly unique and innovative. We equip clients with knowledge and “know how” to understand what’s required and to implement a prioritized health and safety strategy within the business. This allows for greater Board and C-Suite assurance, visibility of continuous improvement in company maturity and streamlining of time, money, and resource allocation to put effort into areas that need it the most. The result is greater compliance and a safer workforce,” says Nathan Hight, the other co-founder and director of Safe365. For large businesses, Safe365 is a proven strategic tool.
    Mark Kidd, Co-Founder
For SME clients, unlike the other products and platforms in the market that solve only a part of the problem for SME business owners, Safe365 is a comprehensive one-stop-shop for every health and safety challenge whether it’s collecting incident data from the ‘shop floor’ through to providing clarity and insights to support company governance.

The company’s software performs three main functions for an organization—assess, diagnose, and improve. The application begins to assess the current health and safety practices of the organization and quickly identifies the vulnerabilities. “We have created a health and safety consultant in the cloud, or digital consultant, which provides an effective, client friendly methodology of sharing relevant knowledge with users,” says Hight.

The Safe365 solution, built on Microsoft Azure’s globally recognized and leading cloud computing platform, allows users to get a full-scale diagnostic plan of a particular business, or business unit, generated by proprietary algorithms to prioritize their time and resources effectively. The Safe365 platform comes with interactive dashboards that help clients manage different aspects and departments of their business and track improvements over time. Users can easily leverage all these capabilities by accessing Safe365 from any internet enabled device, which makes it a go-to solution for every enterprise.

One of Safe365’s clients, Auckland Council in New Zealand—the largest local authority in the southern hemisphere, implemented the Safe365 solution to diagnose strengths and areas needing improvement across 52 individual business units. With a workforce comprising over 9000 staff, the organization lacked a common strategy to focus their efforts in the right direction. Safe365 provided Auckland Council with dashboards that empowered their health and safety team to develop and implement a work plan to support their complex organizational structure. At the executive and governance level, the Auckland Council’s C-suite and elected officials gained visibility into the areas of improvement and could monitor progress as part of their ongoing due diligence and safety leadership role.

Safe365 has also initiated a fast-growing partner program enabling numerous health and safety professionals to use its platform to build their consulting/ advisory businesses and more effectively support their existing and future clients to achieve their safety and business objectives. Safe365 has an extensive suite of new developments to be released throughout 2019 as it continues to execute its innovative product roadmap ensuring its clients remain well served over time. Safe365 is available globally with users in 15 countries but will focus its growth effort in markets such as Australia, Singapore, and the UK in 2019.
