S-Cube Futuretech: The Backbone of Structural Engineering

S-Cube Futuretech was conceived in 2012 by Sajit Nair and Vishwas Date, two career structural engineers in the city of Mumbai in India, who were perplexed by the lack of effective automation in their industry. They leveraged their experience as structural engineers along with their expertise in advanced computing tools to forge the cornerstones of S-Cube.
Through S-Cube, the founders aimed to challenge the then existent fragmented ecosystem with software that worked in silos and successfully created a workflow that was completely automated and integrated. Starting out with this, S-Cube was eventually host to software that revolved around its founders’ principles of simplicity and transparency which would foster progress in the industry.S-Cube’s product portfolio consists of RCDC, PlanWin and Steel AutoDrafter. The soon to be launched next generation RCDC FE takes the traditional RCDC to the next level by covering elements modelled as finite elements. It facilitates 3D interactive detailing which greatly enhances visualization and makes life substantially easier for engineers working on various complex structural designs.
S-Cube’s products have been known to deliver 75 percent resource and 65 percent cost savings in the structural engineering processes. This attribute has made the company a top draw amongst the engineers and engineering organizations. Over the past four years it has also earned the company a huge clientele of over 600 companies, primarily comprising of industry leaders such as Engineers India Ltd, Toyo Engineering, BuroHappold, Ramboll, etc. The company also caters to Indian government organizations such as the Central Public Works Department and the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation. Over the years, S-Cube has successfully addressed several critical challenges faced by engineers such as lack of integration in the workflow, reduced project timelines, frequent changes in project requirements, increasing scale and complexity in projects and inflation.
Having established itself as a go-to-brand for engineering solutions in India, S-Cube seeks to take its unique bouquet of products and services to the global market. It aspires to establish a unique identity by becoming the world’s first engineering delivery process management platform. “We also intend to use our expertise to advice organizations on how to maximize efficiencies of their IT / software infrastructure,” adds Sajit V.R. Nair, CEO S-Cube.
