Sigma Conso
Simplifying Financial Management for Conglomerates

Sigma Conso

Sam Cheo,Director, Sigma ConsoSam Cheo, Director
Watch your finances like a hawk.” Whether an organization seeks to reassess their strategic decisions, expand business through acquisition or analyze business value for sale or restructure, corporate finance is the answer. Sigma Conso identifies these needs and provides assistance to businesses to optimize business processes, meet strict financial standards and improve financial performance. Sigma Conso is well positioned to cater to the needs of their clients--providing software solutions in the field of Corporate Performance Management (CPM).

Sigma Conso offers CPM Software, an open technology cloud-based solution. The Microsoft-based software can be integrated with other cloud solutions available in the market. “Our products have been designed to leverage cloud technology as they have been designed in a way that they can be installed on-premises or in cloud with exactly the same version of the software,” mentions Dominique Galloy, CEO, Sigma Conso. The CPM software supports smart devices– enabling professionals to access data beyond distance and time constraints.

Through the CPM software, the firm assists its clients with financial consolidation, budgeting, planning, forecasting, and management reporting. Safeguarding the data integrity of enterprises during the consolidation process, Sigma Conso provides a platform to customers to access reports based on a single source of truth. The company’s CPM software solutions are time efficient in generating the financial reports and thereby allow customers to focus more on advanced data analysis.
Their solutions are recommended by the Big Four to their clients in a number of countries, and utilized by major accounting firms to perform consolidations for their clients.

Sigma Conso employs the finest technology to ensure high financial performance and faster integration with existing environments and to further automate processes

The company has garnered a vast client base through its journey, which includes over 600 companies across the globe—Wing Tai Group, Sunway Group, Guoco Leisure, Informatics Group, and Iskandar Investment Group, to name a few. Recounting the assistance provided to one of the company’s clients, Sam Cheo, Director, Sigma Conso Asia talks about KPJ Healthcare Group. Burdened with a pile of spreadsheets, KPJ Healthcare Group had to submit its consolidation statements to their shareholder, Johor Corporation. The healthcare company struggled to maintain its financial reports through manual processes. They struggled to accelerate their consolidation process and needed a consolidation system. Sigma Conso provided KPJ a clear picture of consolidation logics and improved financial performance with consistent figures. It also reduced the time taken to close the group accounts.

Sigma Conso employs the finest technology to ensure high financial performance and faster integration with existing environments and to further automate processes. For smoother integration and easy access, the firm brings in Open Data Protocol (OData) to the applications and streamlines group consolidation, reporting software, and strategic planning applications. “Sigma Conso strives to achieve higher performance with rigorous expansion. Our core value lies in focusing on and answering to what our customers need,” believes Cheo.

The company also offers services for training, advisory, and outsourcing. The company publishes the content for consolidation and reporting standards. In 2016, Allen White, the Founder of Sigma Conso published a book “Direct Consolidation” based on the statutory consolidation techniques. He is clearly riven by a vision to educate the customers through training courses and seminars focused on delivering knowledge on the consolidation processes.
