SuperHii: Shaping the Future of In-Store Shopping Experiences

    Follow SuperHii on :

In the era of online shopping platforms transforming customer experiences, the retail landscape is undergoing a shift. As shoppers increasingly enjoy the ease of navigating choices and making purchases online, offline retail businesses are exploring new ways to blend digital technology with traditional shopping to enhance in-store experiences, streamline operations, and increase their revenue potential.

At the forefront of reshaping the in-store shopping experience and driving operational efficiencies for offline retailers is SuperHii, a global leader in digital solutions for supermarkets. Renowned for its R&D activities, the company optimizes retail operations with its cutting-edge shopping cart technology solutions.

Endowed with over 80 patents in both national and international invention and software innovation, SuperHii is a powerful force in smart cart hardware and software design with an established supply chain in China. As the world's largest smart cart solutions provider, it has deployed over 30,000 smart carts with a complete quality assurance system.

“Our goal is to elevate in-store experiences with digital solutions, drive more traffic to supermarkets, and boost revenues—creating a win-win for retailers and shoppers,” says Clark Cheng, CEO of SuperHii.

The company’s comprehensive smart cart solutions encompass charging stations, wireless directional anchor (WDA) devices, SaaS–HiGo app for intelligent shopping, and smart gates.

Central to SuperHii's offerings are its innovative smart shopping cart models, which integrate artificial intelligence, smart sensing algorithms, on-board camera systems, auto-calculation features, big data, and deep learning. The carts—available in the S600, S700, and S800 models—offer users a self-guided shopping journey that starts with a simple QR code scan, delivering an immersive in-store experience.

The latest addition to SuperHii’s product line is the S900 smart cart model. IP65 Suitable for outdoor application, it has a capacity of up to 180 liters volume. It is equipped with a new generation smart tablet, 2-in-1 smart scanner, patent magnetic charger, and whole cart support and loss prevention features. The cart’s modular design makes it easy to install and maintain.

With its smart cart solutions, the company helps retail businesses overcome the shortcomings of the traditional shopping experience, such as limited choices, lengthy queues, and a lack of discounts.
Its carts are equipped with tablets, exclusive coupons, and diverse options to make in-store shopping as efficient and enjoyable as its online counterpart. Shoppers benefit from discounts, credit points, and memberships, promoting satisfaction and fostering brand loyalty.

Each smart cart with a tablet becomes a prime advertising medium within stores, serving as an additional revenue stream for retailers. The WDA device’s location-based advertisement feature enables retailers to introduce and promote private labels alongside established brands.

The smart cart also has features for loss prevention that thoroughly check for scan codes on each product. This eliminates incidents like incorrect product scanning or product substitution, which ensures a secure and reliable shopping experience.

For offline retailers, SuperHii’s smart cart solutions enhance staff efficiency. They also serve as cost-effective alternatives to manual labor amid a reduced labor force due to declining birth rates and challenges in hiring skilled personnel.

SuperHii is backed by an experienced professional service team available 24/7 to provide high-end support. The company takes pride in its localized service teams across Asia that offer swift and expert responses tailored to the needs of clients in different regions.

Trial, one of Japan's leading retailers, has achieved remarkable success since joining forces with SuperHii. Implementing more than 26,000 smart carts across its extensive grocery store network, the retailer experienced a 20 percent reduction in labor costs and a 13.8 percent increase in customer visits within one year. Currently, plans are in motion to deploy the smart carts to all of Trial’s existing and future stores.

Our goal is to elevate in-store experiences with digital solutions, drive more traffic to supermarkets, and boost revenues—creating a win-win for retailers and shoppers.

With a solid foundation in China and Japan, SuperHii has strategically expanded its presence worldwide, successfully entering markets in Southeast Asia and the Middle East. It has further solidified its position as the premier global provider of smart carts, with established partnerships and a growing clientele in Europe and the U.S.

SuperHii, with its excellence in smart cart solutions, is driven to build a future-proof retail landscape for offline retailers and their brick-and-mortar stores. It is steadfast in its mission to enhance revenues, add value to retail businesses, and deliver the ultimate in-store experience to shoppers. www.superthii.com.
