Toyota, the automobile giant made headlines in 2010 due to its mechanical failures and ended up mishandling the issue in the public eye. While the reason of all the suffering was the mechanical failures, the HR processes added to the woes. The root cause of the situation was the employees’ inability to make good decisions, confront negative news and make convincing business case for immediate action and the weak HR processes were to be blamed. And, similar is the story of various other businesses which fail due to inappropriate and mismanaged Human Capital Management systems. Such instances create the need for appropriately managed HCM solutions, which is aptly addressed by Synchrony Global, a leading Cloud HR solution provider. The organization was founded by a group of passionate individuals who had the vision to offer reliable HCM focused cloud solutions to businesses.

Synchrony provides innovative and transformational HR solutions and services to local, regional and global organisations. The company’s HR services framework helps businesses ensure that their most important asset – their people are aligned with their business goals and objectives. From attracting the right talent to aligning the resources with the company’s goals, thereafter measuring their performance against these goals to compensation management and learning and development, these solutions address all HR related tasks. Synchrony’s services are majorly focused on four divisions including business consulting, system integration, operate & improve and delivery centre solutions.

Synchrony is a PartnerEdge SELL Partner of SAP SuccessFactors in the Asia Pacific region.
It has developed a pre-packaged solution based on the SAP SuccessFactors solution suite named SyncExpress which enables a rapid deployment of the solution in a cost effective manner.

“Apart from the SAP SuccessFactors solution suite, Synchrony offers some great solutions including our own in-house payroll solution SyncPay, CPDOne’s suite of solutions, iCube’s innovative diagnostic solutions and Walk-Me’s innovative change and engagement solutions,” explains Darcy Lalonde, Chairman & CEO, Synchrony Global.

HCM remains a crucial business function for every organization and in most cases, businesses are found struggling with multiple issues pertaining to their HR systems. Synchrony helps eliminate these issues through its cloud solutions. It swiftly deals with challenges such as misaligned processes & inconsistent data elements, overlapping systems of record for employee data, manual or limited reporting, and limited ability to undertake complex transitions among others. Synchrony with its ability to adapt to different technologies has served various new comers and frontrunners across the industries. Synchrony’s team has been involved in some of the largest and most complex transformations across the region including Woolworths LimitedNew Zealand Police, Tower Insurance, Aboitiz Group, Solaire Resorts & Casinos, Concepcion Industrial Corporation and the Royal Mail Group.

Synchrony’s solutions can be deployed between 33-50 percent quicker than traditional deployments including pre-configuration, processes, tools, reports and templates amounting to an ‘HR in a Box’ approach. The company’s objective is to be a leader in the HCM space in the Asia Pacific region. At present, the company is gearing up to be a regional player and thus, plans to set up offices in Malaysia, New Zealand and Hong Kong.
