TASSTA: Reinventing How Critical Teams Connect

    Follow TASSTA on :

    Kaveh Hosseinzadeh, President
When lives are on the line, communication must be instant, secure and reliable. Anything less is a risk no one can afford.

TASSTA, a Germany-based leader in mission-critical communications, delivers exactly that, combining the proven reliability of traditional radio with the innovative intelligence and agility of smart software. Its unified platform integrates push-to-talk, real-time video, location tracking, and emergency management and task management in a single application, empowering teams to respond faster, safer, and more effectively in high-pressure environments.

“We’re building a solution that not only matches the expectations of radio users but significantly enhances their capabilities,” says Kaveh Hosseinzadeh, President of TASSTA.

That vision reflects TASSTA’s strength in merging decades of public mobile radio experience with a bold commitment to digital innovation. By modernizing trusted communication standards seusing next-gen technology, TASSTA offers a platform that is rock-solid under pressure and built for the demands of today’s dynamic, mission-critical operations according to the 3gpp standard.

TASSTA replicates the best of traditional radio systems: instantaneous and reliable push-to-talk group communication. The firm goes a step further by integrating features like real-time video calls, GPS, and indoor location tracking, emergency alerts, file sharing, and even augmented reality capabilities for field support. The result is a single application that gives users eyes, ears, and situational awareness, all in real time.

This makes TASSTA particularly appealing for sectors like defense, emergency services, and aviation, industries where performance can be the difference between effective response and critical setbacks. To ease adoption in these environments, TASSTA enables a seamless transition by allowing clients to continue using their existing radios or smart devices. Rather than forcing a full infrastructure overhaul, TASSTA’s software overlays legacy systems, creating hybrid setups that connect past and future technologies without demanding significant capital investment.
Security, Interoperability, and Service at Scale

Security is a defining feature in high-risk sectors. TASSTA takes this seriously. Its platform is FirstNet certified, it is following the 3gpp Standard and is going to be ISO 27001 certified till end of 2025. This level of assurance is non-negotiable for clients like Deutsche Telekom and Swisscom. On the roadmap are several key certifications, including internationally recognized standards for information security and a highly demanding German certification for mission-critical communication systems.

TASSTA offers on-premise deployments for clients requiring complete control over their data. Once installed, the platform can be isolated from internal systems, with secure access granted only for updates or technical support. This architecture preserves data sovereignty, high availability, redundancy, multi-cluster possibility, security, and keeps sensitive information within a tightly controlled environment.

We’re building a solution that not only matches the expectations of radio users but significantly enhances their capabilities

TASSTA’s system is designed for uptime and resilience. Its infrastructure features redundant backend systems, load balancing, high availability, recording and 24/7 monitoring. The result is 99.999 percent availability—the gold standard in mission-critical communication. Should an issue arise, a TASSTA engineer is on standby 24/7 365 days for immediate resolution.

To support global deployments, the platform includes localization in over 20 languages, with an integrated workflow that allows clients to submit and manage custom translations easily. Whether in Tokyo or Toronto, TASSTA ensures a consistent, intuitive user experience tailored to local expectations.

    Real-World Results across Critical Environments

What makes TASSTA truly stand out is its dedication to understanding where each client is coming from and helping solve their challenges with clear, targeted solutions. For instance, when an ambulance service wanted strict control over call access, it built a tiered request system so communication only flowed through dispatch-approved channels. Likewise, when a transport operator sought to upgrade without abandoning existing infrastructure, TASSTA embedded its SDK into onboard computers, preserving familiar interfaces while enhancing backend capabilities.
The same problem-solving mindset shapes TASSTA’s broader platform features. One example is the guard tour solution—a task and team management tool that works seamlessly across mixed-device environments. With integrated NFC, GPS, and text-to-speech prompts, it helps security teams maintain consistent coverage and accountability in the field. Or TASSTA’s BodyCam T.i app lifts body-worn video out of the cradle era. Each clip is encrypted on capture and streamed over LTE/5G straight to the TASSTA dispatcher console, where only holders of the session key can replay it. The chain of custody stays intact; command sees the scene while it’s still unfolding. Compared with legacy cameras that off-load hours later at a docking station, this software-defined workflow is a step-change for mission-critical evidence management—creative, timely, and unmistakably TASSTA.

Rapid and responsive development further reinforces TASSTA’s adaptability. New features are rolled out monthly, with around 300 to 400 features released annually. This rapid development cycle ensures that users do not just adopt a solution; they grow with it.

The results speak across industries. A police department, for instance, connected its specialized radio system to TASSTA and enabled seamless communication between radio and smartphone users—bridging a gap once thought insurmountable. In the hospitality sector, hotel teams used TASSTA over internal Wi-Fi networks to coordinate cleaning, reception, and emergency protocols without needing a telecom provider.

Whether it is oil rigs needing rugged hardware, yachts requiring satellite IP links, or logistics teams seeking instant updates across warehouses, TASSTA’s platform adapts without forcing trade-offs. That is the power of designing for interoperability from day one.

With its blend of legacy reliability and future-ready innovation, TASSTA is not just participating in the mission-critical communication space but reshaping it. And in industries where failure is not an option, that kind of dependability is the ultimate value proposition.
